The term "white flour", has often been used to mean "refined flour", so "white wheat flour" sounds like a contradiction in terms. But it is simply whole grain flour, which includes the bran, germ and endosperm, and is ground from the hard white winter wheat berries. This results in a lighter, milder tasting flour that has the same nutritional value as traditional whole wheat flour. ORGANIC, NON-GMO

    I bake the communion bread for our church (Skyline Southern Baptist, Branson, MO) and I wanted something "un-messed around with." For communion, we want unleavened bread, and the recipe is pretty simple: a half-cup of softened butter (no substitutes), 2 cups of flour and a half cup of cold water. I've added 1/8 cup local honey to the original recipe. This flour performs beautifully, delivering a delicious, nutty, hearty flavor. it has a satiny-smooth feel...just a delight to work with!

    I have been using this flour since June, 2006 to make sourdough bread & it is delicious. My starter just keeps on keeping on and every 2-3 weeks I make 8-10 loaves of bread. I tell my grandsons it is the "staff of life" & they have grown up on it & we all love it. With the special flour I also use honey, olive oil, sea salt & almond milk to make the bread healthy, I think. You can't buy bread that tastes as good as this!
